"...all we are saying is..Give Peace A Chance...." will be the theme of our first ever Emmett PEACE WALK next Saturday, May 22, 9:00 am, starting/ending at the Rotary Shelter!  With that, let's dig out those tie-dye shirts and headbands of the 60's and have some fun!!!

Our objective is to promote PEACE in the world, starting in our own communities, our district, our state and our nation.   Bottles of water will be provided. Walkers don't have to be Rotarians and we invite all community members to join us.  Any and EVERY AGE is welcome!  A fun family event for all.   A nice walk along the river on a beautiful May morning for PEACE!  It just can't get any better than that!

WAIT, YES IT CAN!
We may be visited by the District 5400 Peace Committee Chairman and soon to be District Governor Elect, Janice Fulkerson will be joining us as well as at least one other District dignitary.

PLUS....our club planted a tree in honor of Ann Stone at the Rotary shelter.  We will be dedicating that tree on Saturday morning just before the walk.   You won't want to miss this tribute to an amazing lady!

See you next Saturday morning!
