Rotary’s Service Above Self Award goes to Tina Hefley for November 2022 for Rake-Up Emmett

Emmett Rotary President John Buck appreciates everyone who helps others by volunteering their time and talents and he also recognizes when someone has demonstrated exemplary service. He acknowledges those who go above and beyond by presenting the Rotary’s Service Above Self Award certificate to them during our regular lunch meeting. For the month of November, Tina Hefley, CEO of the Emmett Chamber of Commerce was presented with Rotary’s Service Above Self award for all the time and effort she puts in for Rake-Up Emmett. Not only does she organize the event by obtaining and creating a list of addresses of the yards that need raked, she assigns volunteer groups to those yards (based on the yard and group size), but she also assists with raking and bagging the leaves, regardless of the weather!  Now that is Service Above Self! This year she organized 32 yards to be raked and numerous volunteers. Thank you, Tina Hefley for your hard work and for organizing this event!

Our Emmett Rotary Club supports our community, especially our youth, and is involved in helping those in need around the world. Our meetings are held on Thursdays at noon at Idaho Pizza on Hwy 52.  Come, join us, and make some new friends! Let’s make this a great year of volunteering and service to others.
