It won't be long until we will be seeing the Flamingos flocking our sponsor businesses as we are getting into high gear for Flip Flops & Flamingos present Back to the '50s! as the theme for our 50th Rotary Youth Benefit and Auction slated for May 6, 2023, at the Gem/Boise County Fairgrounds! Each year this event gets bigger and better and we are planning for just that!
Members will soon be visiting local merchants asking for live and silent auction items and/or selling sponsor tables for $500. Each table seats six and includes a catered steak dinner for each one as well as other perks. This year we are also introducing our GOLD LEVEL sponsorship at $2500! There are only 4 of these tables available, with special seating of 8 with a personal waiter, wine glasses, and so much more! It truly is a GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY to serve the youth of Gem County!
As always, proceeds from our annual auction go to the youth of Gem County! We will soon start receiving requests for funds from any youth groups in our County needing money for projects, equipment, travel, etc. Because we, as a Rotary club, serve our community in various ways, the only responsibility of the groups requesting funding is that they help with our projects, i.e. Rake the Town, Cherry Festival Parking, Pins 4 Polio, our Peace Walk, etc. We are always open to more projects too!
