Beware Canals

Last week our own John Buck, the Honorable Gem County Coroner, gave us some insights into the dangers of irrigation canals. In particular, he cited the dangers of "running the tunnel", which has claimed the lives of several young people in recent years. A big issue is lack of signage warning of the dangers. John is hoping the Black Canyon Canal Company can get all the stakeholders together to come up with a plan. We should all use any opportunity we have to make people aware of the dangers.
