Club Assembly - lots of stuff!

Next Saturday is the District 5400 Mid-Winter Conference in nearby Meridian. We'd like to have 5 members attend. (Go to the link on the left side of your home page for more details - or go to the District 5400 site). Please let Bob know if you can go......... By the end of this month we will have exceeded our goal for contributions to the Rotary International Foundation. We'll also exceed the District's average per club - our is $27.59 per member.  Good Job!.............Our Treasurer reports $7,276 in the bank account. If you'd like more detail, contact Rick.......We've lost some members this month, so even though we picked up two new folks, we're only about even. Ron Tinscher has resigned since he's moved to a new job in Nampa. Likewise, Tim Flemming has taken a new Prosecutor's position over in Canyon County. Mary Nissen is in the process of relocating to California so she'll be looking for transfer once she's settled...........TJ reports that the three new grills we bought are all set, (although the Four Way Test was severely tested!). We'll be applying for a District Simplified Grant to help pay for them. Now, we need a trailer to carry them on ...any ideas would be welcome........We were locked out of our first-pick International Project (we were too late). So we've committed to #2, another water project in Bahia de Caraquez, Ecuador.......Time to start preparing for the Youth Auction and Youth Appreciation Day (April 24-25). We need to begin soliciting for stuff to be auctioned. Larry has prepared a list for each member. ALL contacts must be made ASAP. Larry has the master list, so if you want to add/delete/trade etc contact him first. This is our biggest fund raiser of the year. The Committee has made some changes: new location in the high school atrium, some silent auction tables, ways to make it go faster..........
