Downtown Ready For Holidays!

Downtown decorations project went very smooth. Thanks to Mark and Dave who worked on the
ladder and hung banners. Marilyn and Sue helped with the large over the
street banners and Stacy, Dian and Jeremiah Vickery (Mass Mutual) worked
with the City Bucket Truck to hang banners as well. Stacy's husband
John and John Shoemaker worked with the 4T Construction (Stacy and John's
business) bucket truck to hang the large over the street banners. We had
a 4-H group (parents and teenagers that worked with ladders on Main to hang the banners and lights on the light posts.
Fire Chief Shannon Crays and his crew worked on Hwy 16 to hang banners and
lights on posts. Sheriff Chuck provided coverage for the
bucket truck at the intersections for safety. Overall it was a great
day. We have 5 poles that are not lighting up. I will be trouble
shooting those in the next few days. Thanks to everyone for making our
community beautiful during this holiday season. I hope I did not
miss anyone
