Installation Banquet features awards

Forty members and friends met for dinner at the Triangle Dinner House to celebrate the 25 year anniversary of the Emmett Rotary Club. They were treated to musical selections from Miss Gem County, Sarah Downs. Officers and board members sworn in were Gayle Fry, Past President, Terry Jones, President Elect, TJ Adams, Vice President, Rod DeArmond, Secretary, Mary Nissen, Board Member, and Bob Fry, President. As a special presentation, District Assistant Governor Nina Gammons awarded Rick Walth the Rotarian of the Year. She cited Rick's steady consistent work as Treasurer, and his active participation in many service projects. Rick's unassuming manner and dedicated work exemplify Service Above Self. To recognize his service in the year, Joe Daily was given the "Rookie of the Year" award. All of those present enjoyed an evening of laughter and celebration thanks to the service of Perry Jenkins as Master of Ceremonies.
