While it seems we are always talking about supporting a variety of worthwhile projects around the world, sometimes it's nice to help our fellow Rotarians in need right here in the USA. Our Club supported President John's request to send $250 to District 7170 in the Catskills region of upstate NY. A number of small rural communities, each with a Rotary Club, suffered unimaginable flood damage form the rains of Hurricane Irene. Our contribution was made to the Rotary Catskills Flood Relief Fund based in Hobart, NY. To see some pictures of the destruction, go to our home page and look at the bottom of the list of Photo Journals.
