Obermeyer's Class Support Mexican Dentist

Cindy Obermeyer is shown in Los Barriles, Mexico presenting three cases of
dental supplies to Dr. Guillermo Maneses and his wife, who is also his dental
assistant. Mrs. Obermeyer and her classes at Emmett High School gathered and
donated enough toothbrushes, toothpaste, and floss for up to 900 elementary
students. This will be given out by Dr. Maneses during dental education visits
to elementary schools in Los Barriles and the surrounding area near the southern
tip of the Baja California peninsula. Emmett Rotary contributed to this project
by paying the $75 airline baggage charges (and Dave was needed to help carry the
boxes). This is coordinated by Mrs. Obermeyer through a project of the East
Cape Rotary Club, also of Los Barriles.
