Our International Project Moves Ahead!

We received this message from Bob Rainville, our International project Coordinator: Dear Cooperators in the New Hope Orphanage Bakery Project in Arequipa Peru, I am very pleased to inform you that we have completed all the Rotary Foundation's requirements implement our project to install a commercial bakery at the New Hope Orphanage in Arequipa Peru. (See the trailing letter from the Rotary Foundation). At this time, our partnering Rotary Club in Arequipa has received our contributions and matching funds from our District and the Foundations. Yesterday John Verity, our District's Primary Contact for the project, recieved a message indicating that items for the project are already being purchased. I will ask John to keep us informed on the project's progress and send us photos. I anticipate that our project will be implemented shortly because of the need for the bakery and the commitment of our partners in Peru. Thank you for making this project possible.
