A few special members of the Rotary Club of Emmett stopped by the Gem County Senior and Community Center (GCSCC) on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, to present them with a donation from their annual rose sale. Rotary Club of Emmett’s 26th Annual Rose Sale Fundraiser set a new record, selling 171 dozen roses and donating $2,569.00 from the net proceeds to the Gem County Senior and Community Center.
In the picture, from left to right, David Little, project chair, presented the check to Joyce Coulter, the Center’s board president. Next to Joyce is Rotarian John Buck, who started the annual Rotary Rose Sale in 2000. Originally, it raised funds for fuel and repairs for the Senior Center’s bus, but now the funds can be utilized at their discretion. Next is Veteran Rotarian Perry Jenkins, who still holds the title of the top rose seller, selling 42 dozen roses. Holding up the right end of the check is Nicole Mock, president of the Rotary Club of Emmett for 2026-2027. Also helping is Rotary’s Past District Governor (2025-2026), Kathy Buck, taking pictures. The presentation took place before a large lunch crowd at the GCSCC, where attendees expressed heartfelt appreciation and gratitude to the Rotarians.
