Scholarship Committee Meets

The Committee representing the Emmett Rotary Foundation met this week to review 24 applications from our EHS seniors. Six scholarships were awarded ranging from $750 to $250. They will be presented at the High School's award assembly on May 12th. Funds for this Memorial Scholarship come from our own Foundation which was established about five years ago from the proceeds of the sale of the Gem Youth Services Girls Home which was given to our Rotary Club.  For more information on the history of the program, look in Club Documents at "Rotary Club of Emmett Foundation". It was exciting to review the applications of these very sharp young people who represent our future!
