Earlier this month, on Thursday, October 2, 2025, Emmett Rotary Club President Ted Clemens proudly inducted Kim Stenson as the newest member of the Rotary Club of Emmett. Kim arrives with a wealth of experience in project management and corporate training. She has also dedicated countless hours to volunteering, participating in activities such as neighborhood cleanups and providing meals for the homeless.
You might spot Kim enjoying a round of golf or playing pickleball. She has a passion for gardening and loves to cook with the fresh produce she grows. A special thanks goes to her sponsor, Dina Pisani, for introducing her to Rotary. We are thrilled to welcome her to the Emmett Rotary family.
There’s always room for more members in Rotary! Have you considered how you could volunteer and share your skills with others? Rotarians across the globe are recognized for their dedication of time, effort, and resources to improve the world for everyone. Our Emmett Rotary Club not only supports our local community and youth but also participates in initiatives to help those in need around the world. Emmett Rotary is well-known for its community contributions, supporting youth groups through funds raised at our annual Youth Benefit Dinner and Auction, and other fun projects. We need YOU to join our meetings and discover what we’re all about! As we grow, we want YOU to be a part of this journey. The more members we have, the greater impact we can make in our community and beyond.
If you’d like to learn more about Rotary, feel free to attend our meetings at Idaho Pizza on Hwy 52, every Thursday at noon. You can also visit our website at https://www.emmettrotary.org/, like our Facebook page, Rotary Club of Emmett, or call Ted Clemens at 208-365-6625.
The next service project in which you can participate is Rake Up Emmett on November 15. We will meet at PR2TA at 8 a.m. for house and team assignments. Please dress appropriately for the weather and remember to stay hydrated. Bring your rake, claws, leaf blower, gloves, and your enthusiastic self! If you have extra rakes or large, empty rubber trash barrels, please bring those as well. Bags will be provided. Don't forget to label your belongings with your last name to ensure you get them back.
