Our annual Rotary Youth Auction last Friday at the High School raised over $12,000!!  That's a really good number!  At one point that night, we counted about 100 people in the room. There were just over 80 people who registered for numbers.  The 4H folks were very happy with their sales of pulled pork sandwiches (they were very good!)  There were some interesting bids: a certain Doc paid $300 for an $80 motel room; and two pigs; Rotary charter member JIm Garland paid $115 for Carol's cinnamon buns. There 17 Rotarians either working or bidding. Its a long event - we didn't get out of there until nearly 11 o'clock.

Organizers of that event are asked to hang around for a few minutes after Thurday's meeting for a "de-brief".
