Cruise Night a Huge Success
Now that the dust has settled, it can be reported that the Show & Shine and Cruise Night was huge success! Our Club cooked up hot dogs and burgers and with the help of nearly 20 volunteers, made a profit of about $2,400!!
Many thanks to the Lions Club for giving us the opportunity to provide this service to the event and make some money for our causes. Our friends from the Lions Club reported that they thought about 750 cars ended up in the Show &' Shine..a new record. We are the only car show in the Northwest that does not charge an entry fee. The Lions served about 900 folks pancakes on Saturday morning..their 18th year of that project!
This year, the Lions even hooked up a short-range AM radio station so everyone could hear news and announcements.
