Rotary Ambassadorial Scholarship Program in limbo - Our DG has advised that the Ambassadorial Program needs a thorough review to determine its long term viablility. He's asked our club to let him know what we think about it. Turns out, we don't know much. Dave O. will get some information so we can be better informed. Check it out on the Rotary5400.org website.
Dictionary Project Continues..............books were distributed to Emmett Christian School last Friday. This coming Friday at 2:30 we'll pass out 54 books at Shadow Butte School. Let Perry know if you can attend the presentation. So the only kids left are the Homeschoolers.
Membership Goals can be reached.........While Ron Tincher and Mary Nissen seem to be leaving us for new adventures, Bob reports that we have 5 prospective members in the works. Our goal for the year is to increase out membership to 30...we're currently at 27. Have you invited a prospect?
Cherry Festival Parking.....its not too soon to be thinking about next year's Festival. Terry has volunteered to be our Parking chairman. There will be some meetings well in advance of the event to discuss changes the city wants to make in our parking process. This has been a major fundraiser for us - last year we made about $2100.
