Last week we enjoyed seeing a film presented by almost-retired Emmett teacher Randa George. It was about community planning for a great "first impression". Signage and architectural styles of national chains were highlighted. For example, a McDonalds doesn't have to look like a McDonalds - IF the town's code folks speak up and make demands.
