Scott McGann promotes Hunting for Youth

Our speaker last week was Scott McGann. Most of us know Scott, a local insurance agent. What we didn't know was just how involved he's been with promoting hunting trips for kids with life threatening medical issues. Hunting has been in his blood since he was a kid. He was the 2001 Idaho Bowman of the Year and he's recently joined the national staff of MossyOak Camoflage. For the last 7 years he's run a hunting camp kids - last year they had 225 kids. Two years ago he joined the organization called "Hunt of a Lifetime" as their Western Idaho Chairman. This is similar to Make-a-Wish in that it puts together hunting expeditions for terminally ill kids; except that Make-a-Wish will not do hunting trips. Scott is truly comitted to this program.
