During the Rotary Club of Emmett’s, Thursday, December 14, Rotary Luncheon, President John Buck presented Ron Oberleitner with Rotary’s Service Above Self Award with a Certificate and a pin to recognize him for his praiseworthy service.
Before Ron joined the Rotary Club Emmett in 2022, he was an active member of the Rotary Club of Boise Southwest, Idaho for 2 years. President John Buck stated on his certificate, “Ron is a very active Rotarian – mostly staying behind the limelight and that makes his efforts even more commendable. This year he co-chaired the Rake the Town efforts in conjunction with the Chamber of Commerce and he began our very successful Diversability Dance held monthly at the Emmett United Methodist Church. Ron makes himself available for any project the club undertakes and always with a smile. Thank you, Ron.” Ron truly demonstrates and follows our motto of service above self, he is constantly on the go with his own business, Behavior Imaging, but still finds the time to serve in the community. If you would like to be more involved with your community, join us on Thursdays at noon at Idaho Pizza on Hwy 52.
