At our weekly Thursday noon meeting, Emmett Rotary President John Buck presented a Service Above
Self Award to recognize a great group of Rotarians who donated countless hours, sweat, and tons of
laughs on Youth Appreciation Day. (Click on the title for more)

Several Emmett Rotarians made the time to attend our District 5400 Celebration in
Boise, on April 21 – 22 and they were glad they did. They learned many new things
happening around the world and participated in helping local nonprofits with their
projects, from making natural birdfeeders, and planting milkweed along the Boise River
to save the Monarch butterflies, to sorting boxes of Amazon returns at Astegos. (Click on the title to read more)
During our Thursday, April 6, Rotary Luncheon, President John Buck presented Mark Wurtenberger with Rotary’s Service Above Self Award with a Certificate and a pin to recognize him for his demonstration of exemplary service. Mark joined the Emmett Rotary Club in 2010 and has never looked back. He has seen people come and go and has made many new friends.
